Zeolite Toothpowder & Zeolite Toothpaste
Zeolite Toothpowder
Zeolite is highly recommended to keep your teeth and gums healthy, especially if you are a smoker or have amalgam fillings. The toothpowder and toothpaste recipes have been contributed by Carol Armstrong.
- 2 teaspoons zeolite powder
- 1 teaspoon bicarbonate of soda
Blend the zeolite powder and soda together in a small bowl, a teaspoon of activated charcoal powder can be added for extra whitening. Store the toothpowder in a small airtight jar. To use the toothpowder, sprinkle it onto a moist toothbrush.
Zeolite Toothpaste
- 1 teaspoon zeolite powder
- 1 teaspoon coconut oil
- 4 teaspoons aloe vera gel
Melt the coconut oil gently if it has become solid, then blend in the zeolite powder followed by the aloe vera gel. Add a drop or two of essential oil of peppermint or spearmint. Keep the toothpaste in a small tightly sealed jar and use a small spoon to put it onto the brush.
Hi Natalie, No, zeolite cannot stain crowns.
Can zeolite stain crowns like charcoal can do?
Hi, if i don’t have aloe vera gel, can I i still make the toothpaste? If yes how much coconut oil and zeolite powder should I use?
Hi Tanya, if you are using distilled water (which we would recommend for superior quality) then you can store in an air tight container in the fridge indefinitely. All that will happen is eventually it will dry out, as the zeolite will soak up the moisture, so in that case, you would just keep adding a little water as necessary.
Hello, just wondering how long can you store to mud for and if you can. Thanks
